Rescue Ridge Adoption Event at Waypoint 622, Sunday, July 12th

Come join us at Waypoint 622 on Sunday, July 12, 2020, from 2 PM to 6 PM for our Rescue Ridge adoption event! We will have some of our fabulous adoptable pups and cats there hoping for their forever homes. Talk with us about adopting, fostering, and volunteering with us. Rescue Ridge and Squankum Animal Inn are presenting the 3^rd Annual 4 Paws Sake Family Fun Fest. Admission is $5 per person (children 5 and under are free). Proceeds from the admission benefits both Rescue Ridge and The Historic Village at Allaire.

This is a dog friendly event for well-behaved dogs on leashes (no retractable leashes). The 4 Paws Sake Family Fun Fest was founded in 2017 by Girl Scout Hannah Misyak to educate the public on the plight of homeless animals and the importance of adopting from rescues. Come meet Rio, the star of “Rio – The Love Story: How My Dog Saved My Life” during a book signing by Author Joni darc Shepherd. The event will also include a pet costume contest, cutest tricks contest, vendors, food trucks, a 50/50 raffle, gift baskets, live music, carnival games, sand art, face painting, Kindred Souls Therapy Dogs demonstration, Therapy Dogs Fashion Show, Caricaturist Steve Lefkowitz, Live Sketches by Alexis, Dog Kissing Booth, information on adoptable animals, and much more. Net proceeds from the event to benefit Rescue Ridge, a non-profit, 11^th hour no-kill animal rescue group serving the Jersey Shore, for the shelter, care and veterinary attention to the animals rescued by Rescue Ridge every year.
